McGovern Automotive Group Expands into New Jersey
McGovern Automotive Group (MAG) has taken over the Contemporary Motor Cars Mercedes-Benz dealership that will now be operating as Mercedes-Benz of Little Silver. This is MAG’s 31st dealership and its first in New Jersey.
The newly renamed Mercedes-Benz of Little Silver includes both Mercedes-Benz and Sprinter brands, expanding MAG’s portfolio of high-end vehicles. The dealership, located near the Jersey Shore, is well-positioned to serve a discerning clientele and complements McGovern’s existing lineup of luxury brands, including Porsche and Ferrari, according to company officials.
The dealership will continue to operate under the leadership of general manager Victor Giamanco with NY/NJ Regional Vice President Todd Greico will oversee operations, leveraging his extensive industry experience to further enhance the dealership’s performance.
The dealership’s expansive campus, consisting of six properties, provides ample space to showcase its diverse selection of vehicles. The group plans to expand the dealership’s staff by more than 10 new positions in the coming months. This move is part of MAG’s broader effort to invest in its communities that is operates and deliver exceptional customer service.
Tesla Building New Sales Center in Naples
Tesla is building a nearly 45,000-square-foot regional service and sales center on more than 4.5 acres at 4555 Radio Road, Naples, FL.
Tesla’s first service center in Collier County is targeted for completion in the second quarter of 2025. The electric car company has operated a showroom at Waterside Shops in North Naples since December 2016 but Tesla’s nearest service center is on Colonial Boulevard near its interchange with Interstate 75 in Fort Myers.
The majority of Tesla’s space in East Naples will be an indoor service area with at least 20 bays, plans show. The building also will have office space and a showroom large enough to display two or three electric vehicles. The structure’s roof will be used as outdoor storage for vehicle inventory.
Rohrman Automotive Group Open Largest Honda Dealership
Rohrman Automotive Group has opened the largest Honda dealership. The new 173,000 square-foot Schaumburg Honda dealership in Schaumburg, IL opened September 26 with ribbon cutting ceremony and celebration

The new facility replaces the original rooftop formerly located at 750 E. Golf Road that had been in operation since 1985. The new store features comfortable waiting areas, a high-tech 53,000 square feet of indoor showroom for easy car browsing in any weather, and a 1,000 square feet of children’s play area. The new service department at Schaumburg Honda features a three-lane service drive and 29 service bays.

Butler Automotive Group Purchases Bulldog Kia
Bulldog Kia, located in Athens, GA, has been acquired by Butler Automotive Group, according to Haig Partners who served as the exclusive sell-side
Bulldog Kia owner and operator David Kernall originally partnered with Jim Keffer of Keffer Auto Group to purchase the dealership in 2010. Kernall, alongside his current partner James Hammond, later obtained full ownership in 2020 through Keffer’s “GM-to-owner” buyout program. Bulldog Kia is a top-performing Kia store in the state of GA.
With the purchase of Bulldog Kia, Butler Automotive Group now owns and operates 15 dealerships in Georgia, South Carolina and Florida.
