The dealership has purchased several devices from UVeye, a company that specializes in automatic vehicle inspection technology. The UVeye devices scan the sides and underbody of a vehicle and can identify issues with a car before a technician even looks at it. Jack Schmitt Chevrolet is the only dealership in the Metro East to carry UVeye products.
Jack Schmitt Chevrolet has been in business for more than 65 years. Kathy Schmitt-Federico, the Executive Manager of Jack Schmitt Chevrolet, said because the car industry is always changing, she and her family have always made it a priority to stay at the forefront of new technology options like UVeye. She said every single vehicle that comes in for service goes through their UVeye devices.

UVeye was founded as a company in 2016 and has installed their devices at over 300 locations worldwide, including Jack Schmitt Chevrolet. John Ratulowski is the service manager at the location and said he has seen firsthand how bringing this to the Metro East has helped his customers.
