12 May 2026 – Phyron has launched Video Message, a new product designed to help dealerships respond to online enquiries with fast, personal video at the point where buyer intent is at its highest. The product is already being used by Stellantis &You UK and Perrys.
Available directly within the Phyron App, Video Message allows sales staff to record and send a selfie-style introduction and vehicle walkaround in just a couple of minutes, with clips edited together automatically and delivered through a branded landing page. The message includes dealership and salesperson details, plus a clear call to action, giving buyers a more direct and personal experience.
The launch marks a broadening of Phyron’s role in the digital retail journey. The company has built its position by helping dealers and OEMs improve the presentation of vehicle stock through automated video and imagery. With Video Message, Phyron is now extending that offer into lead conversion, giving dealerships a way to add a human touch at the point where many online sales opportunities are won or lost.
As dealerships look for faster and more scalable ways to market vehicles online, automation is increasingly being used to produce vehicle videos, optimize listings, and manage large digital inventories. With the rollout of Phyron 2.0 later this year, the company expects adoption to grow further as dealers continue to adopt AI-driven tools.
Mattias Kellquist, CEO of Phyron, said: “Automotive retail has invested heavily in digitalization, but the moment after a customer enquires is still too often flat, slow or impersonal. Video Message gives retailers a faster, stronger and more human way to respond, using video to build trust earlier and move buyers closer to action.”
Buyers often spend hours comparing vehicles, reading reviews and narrowing options before making contact, which means the first reply from a retailer carries more weight than ever. Video Message is designed to make that reply feel less like a generic follow-up and more like the start of a sales conversation.
Alongside the video itself, the tool gives dealership teams real-time notifications when a buyer opens the email, clicks through and watches the content, helping sales staff time follow-up more effectively and respond while interest is still live.
The launch also supports Phyron’s wider product direction. The company has been building a connected set of tools aimed at improving performance across the full buyer journey, from the paid ad and vehicle listing through to direct dealer contact. Video Message adds a new layer to that by bringing personalized communication into the same work stream.
Video Message is available now to both existing and new Phyron customers.
