Spiffy has officially announced Recall Capture, its end-to-end recall automation platform designed specifically for mobile repair operations. Currently in limited beta with major dealership groups, Recall Capture is set to streamline the recall process by automating vehicle identification number (VIN) prioritization, customer outreach, scheduling, and mobile technician dispatch.
The platform, a feature of Spiffy’s Mobile 360™ software, aims to help dealerships resolve recall issues efficiently while simultaneously increasing service revenue, freeing up in-store service bays, and improving customer satisfaction index (CSI) scores.
Streamlining Recalls
“Recall volume is at an all-time high, yet workflows haven’t kept pace,” said Karl Murphy, Spiffy Co-founder and CEO. “Recall Capture gives fixed ops teams an automated path to mobile completions, turning compliance into revenue. It’s built on over a decade of mobile service innovation that helps dealers grow fixed ops revenue while improving retention and CSI.”
While many dealerships utilize digital tools to detect recalls, the process often stalls when customers are required to visit a service center. Recall Capture bridges this gap, allowing customers to self-schedule mobile repairs at their convenience, either at home or at work. Using route optimization, the system dispatches technicians for repairs without occupying dealership bays.
Beta Testing and Potential Benefits
The platform is being tested by several top dealership groups and is already yielding promising results. It hopes to streamline scheduling processes, build significant increases in customer reach, and improve capture of unclaimed service revenue typically lost when customers postpone visits.
“We’re not just building another recall tool; we’re reimagining what mobile-first fixed ops can look like,” said Ryan Eade, Spiffy CTO and Head of Product. “Recall Capture brings together detection, outreach, scheduling, and repair in one seamless system that dealers can actually use at scale. It’s the result of years of boots-on-the-ground experience, now wrapped into one unified product.”
Expanding Mobile Service Solutions
To further assist dealerships and service teams, Spiffy’s Mobile 360™ platform includes technologies tailored for the evolving landscape of mobile automotive service, supported by over 10 years of experience and three million completed mobile services.
Recall Capture is the initial offering in Spiffy’s new Capture™ product family, which will later include tools for inspections and prescheduled maintenance. General availability for Recall Capture is planned for the summer of 2025.
