KeyTrak is unveiling its next major advancement at the NADA Show 2025, building on its partnership with real-time location services company TrueSpot.
KeyTrak systems now allow dealership personnel to locate vehicles and their keys faster from the palm of their hand.
“Over the past year, the collaboration between TrueSpot and KeyTrak has continued to accelerate at a tremendous pace,” said Mike Hanna, CEO of TrueSpot. “It has allowed us to enable new integrations that deliver even more advanced capabilities to KeyTrak dealers.”
Key Tracking
For sales and service associates looking for keys or vehicles, KeyTrak Edge now pinpoints the desired assets with an intuitive map view of the dealership. For personnel on the go, KeyTrak’s mobile app enables a quick search capability with the asset’s location pinned on the map.
“And for hard-to-find assets, like hidden keys, they can use Modar Mode, which employs Mobile Radar functionality — a feature mimicking radar by guiding users closer to their asset using proximity feedback — even if it’s in a desk drawer or salesperson’s pocket,” said Hanna.
To save even more time, the key tracker now responds in real-time, switching seamlessly from Maps Mode to the Enhanced Modar Mode, which is a proprietary feature to deliver an even better and quicker key-finding experience. This saves hours of wasted time searching for missing assets and hundreds of dollars per key in rekeying costs.
Quick Problem Resolution
Through the continuing partnership between KeyTrak and TrueSpot, dealers are able to identify and resolve problems before they escalate.
“The ability to search for missing assets quickly and track them with a mobile device makes finding keys and vehicles so much easier,” said Steve Robinson, vice president of Sales for KeyTrak. “And in this business, customers’ time is valuable. Every minute matters.”
Full demonstrations of the power of this partnership will be on display in the KeyTrak booth (#2035) at NADA.
