How to inspire customer loyalty by thinking small, according to Amp & Pivot.
Somewhere in the Pennsylvania countryside lives a man named Floyd Pullin. And Floyd recently bought himself brand new Ford pickup truck.
Is this breaking news? Nope. Not even a little bit.
Floyd is no different than the other 67,500 Americans who bought a Ford pickup truck last month or the 58,000 Americans who bought a truck the month before that. The most interesting thing about Floyd is that he was probably the only centenarian to buy one.
Floyd Pullin is 102-freaking-years-old and he’s still buying brand new trucks from Ford.
And this Ford purchase wasn’t his first. Or his second. Or even his 10th. This was Floyd’s 16th purchase of a Ford pickup. According to USA Today, he’s been buying them since the 1920s.
Now THAT, my friend, is customer loyalty.
