Georgica Auto Holdings Acquires Dealership from Group 1
Georgica Auto Holdings (GAH) has acquired Kolb Subaru, a dealership in Orangeburg, NY, from Group 1 Automotive. The addition of Kolb Subaru expands GAH’s footprint in the Northeast and is GAH’s third Subaru store.
The acquisition of Kolb Subaru aligns with GAH’s commitment to growing a diverse and high-performing dealership network, representing an extensive roster of mass-market and luxury automotive brands.

Catskill Automotive Partners Buys Ohio Dealership
Ed Tomko Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram in Avon, OH, has been purchased by Catskill Automotive Partners and will now be known as Avon Lake Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram.
The dealership, which was most recently owned and operated by Ed Tomko’s four children, Greg Tomko (Principal), Renee Tomko (Controller), Paul Tomko (Used Car Manager), and David Tomko (Service and Parts Director) was sold to Elliot Schor, Managing Partner of Catskill Automotive Partners and Scott Zuckerman, Dealer Principal at Catskill Automotive Partners after the four siblings decided to retire. The deal was brokered by the Tim Lamb Group.
Avon Lake Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram is the first dealership acquisition for partners Elliot Schor and Scott Zuckerman. The 41,947 square foot dealership is comprised of a new and used showroom which is positioned on 7.5 acres of land. The dealership also features a body shop and Level 3 EV Charging Stations.
Chico Mazda & Volkswagen Acquired by First Time Buyer
Chico Volkswagen and Chico Mazda in California was recently sold as Mark and Amy Abouzeid are retiring.
Mark Abouzeid moved to Chico, California in the early 1980s and started as a mechanic at a local dealership. By 2002, the Abouzeid’s reached a pivotal milestone by becoming the first Volkswagen Service Point in the U.S. to transform into a full-fledged Volkswagen dealership: Chico Volkswagen. They further enhanced their offerings by adding Chico Mazda in 2015.
“I’m retiring at 62 and finally have the chance to spoil Amy after a lifetime of hard work,” said Mark Abouzeid. “Reaching this point required countless sacrifices, so deciding to sell my dealership was a monumental and complex choice…. Finding the right buyer was critical to us — someone who would honor our dedicated team and close-knit community.”
The deal is the first time that Mark Meyer, a seasoned real estate professional, is purchasing a dealership. As co-founder of Apex Equities, Meyer has a strong background in real estate investments, particularly focusing on single-tenant net lease properties within the automotive sector, as well as multifamily acquisitions across the U.S.
Meyer is responsible for leading the investment strategy at Apex Equities, overseeing deal sourcing and underwriting, and managing relationships with investors and partners. The deal was brokered by Jason Stopnitzky and Performance Brokerage Services.

Chico Volkswagen and Chico Mazda will remain at their current locations at 902 & 928 Main Street in Chico, CA.
The Grubbs Family Expanding in Wichita Falls
The Grubbs Family of Dealerships is buying five Foundation Automotive Group properties in Wichita Falls.
The Grubbs company has a contract with Foundation to take over ownership and operations March 17 of the following dealerships: Foundation Hyundai, Foundation Cadillac, Foundation GMC, Foundation Kia and Foundation Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, Ram, Fiat.
Grubbs currently represents Acura, Infiniti, Nissan, Volvo and Polestar at its locations. Foundation acquired its Wichita Falls dealerships from Patterson Auto Group in February 2022. The company has multiple dealerships in Canada and the U.S.
