CRYSTAL LAKE, IL – At NADA ’13 in Orlando Feb. 8 – 11, leading automotive compliance experts Automotive Compliance Consultants will introduce its newest compliance convenience tool for auto dealerships, an iPad version of its popular Compliance Solved Dealer Dashboard.
“We designed this iPad application to bring important consumer protection to the showroom floor,” said CEO Terry Dortch. “This is valuable to auto dealers because so much of the compliance process should be taking place during the road to the sale.”
By bringing consumer protection compliance into the sales process, dealers using this mobile tool will better ensure that important regulatory protections are completed.

Using the iPad tool, sales associates will scan driver’s licenses as they take the up. Then, after the demo drive they will recall that information within the iPad application, edit it and add the customer’s social security number if a credit report is required. The tool then alerts the desk manager to pull the report within the mobile Compliance Solved Dealer Dashboard. The F&I manager is then automatically notified, who at any point can push the data to DealerTrack, RouteOne, and other parties.
Subscribing dealers can download from the mobile Dealer Dashboard reports from Experian, TransUnion and Equifax. Unlike other services, Automotive Compliance Consultants does not charge dealers a markup on these downloads. Furthermore, the tool gives dealers complimentary fast access to all credit-related documents including the FTC Model Privacy Notice and Risk-Based Pricing and Adverse Action notices and more. Most other credit report providers charge for these ancillary but critically important documents.
