Auto-Bio, a California company providing dealerships with a proven and unique sales tool for pre-owned vehicles since 2004 is changing its name to CAR-BIO. Auto-Bio provides a booklet on each specific pre-owned vehicle on a dealership’s lot, plus an electronic version for dealership websites and a QR code sticker for mobile devices. The Auto-Bio booklet and electronic version is a “biography” on each specific vehicle with vehicle equipment, trade reviews, owner reviews, technical specifications, vehicle history reports, and dealership specific information. This sales tool – a third party report – increases customers’ credibility in the vehicle, the dealership and the salesperson. As the pre-owned inventory changes, the new Auto-Bios arrive automatically.
Company Founder and President, David Taylor, recently announced the name change as a means to re-launch the company’s services nationwide with a national marketing campaign and the implementation of a national sales force. He also stated the decision to change to CAR-BIO will give the company’s product a more descriptive name for marketing. One of the challenges facing Auto-Bio in the past was that the name Auto-Bio was not recognized for the tool it is, especially with no other competing product. The name change and national marketing is scheduled to be fully implemented by June 1, 2012.
