KANSAS CITY, Mo. — The Kansas City Auto Show has rolled into town and high tech is the star at Bartle Hall.
More and more new vehicles on display offer cutting edge technology to make drivers more connected to their cars.
The all-new Chevrolet Trax is one of 30 models General Motors now equips with a built-in Wi-Fi hotspot. Up to eight devices can connect to the internet from the car’s cabin, and there’s also a standard 110 volt outlet to plug in computers or other electronics.
“Maybe I forgot to lock my vehicle. I can press the button and it’s going to lock my car, no matter where it is anywhere in country. I’m locking my car right from my phone,” said Craig Eppling.
