Chevrolet, Buick, GMC and Cadillac dealers in the U.S. reported 29,604 sales of certified pre-owned vehicles for March 2012, the strongest sales month since March 2011—last year’s best month. These sales represent a 13 percent increase compared to February and a 5 percent decrease compared to March 2011. Through the first quarter of 2012, combined sales of Chevrolet, Buick, GMC and Cadillac Certified Pre-Owned vehicles rose .4 percent, to 78,322 units, compared to the first quarter of 2011.

“March continues our 2012 success with the third straight month of CPO sales growth and our strongest sales month since March 2011,” said Larry Pryg, national manager, Certified Pre-Owned Vehicles. “Customers have responded well to our new Owner Care program, and we believe it has contributed to growth in sales and will continue to do so.”
During March, the Chevrolet Impala led the way with the highest total sales. March’s top two sellers for each brand include:
