SANTA MONICA, Calif. — Edmunds.com, the premier online resource for automotive information, announced that it has promoted three of its long-standing executives.
Effective immediately, Jeremy Anwyl is Vice Chairman of the company, stepping up from the Chief Executive Officer position he has held since 2007. Mr. Anwyl joined the company in December 1999 as Chief Operating Officer and has played an integral role in shaping the company’s development. The new assignment allows him to focus on further strategic advancements.
Avi Steinlauf rises from President to Chief Executive Officer, overseeing the business and directing the company toward the goals of empowering the automotive consumer, maintaining the high quality of the workplace and building the company to thrive for the long term. He joined Edmunds in summer of 1998 as the Director of Business Development and has also headed the company’s marketing and revenue management areas. Previously, he worked for Coopers & Lybrand’s Knowledge Strategies Group. Mr. Steinlauf earned an MBA degree from the Kellogg Graduate School of Management at Northwestern University and a bachelor’s degree from Yeshiva College.
Seth Berkowitz becomes President and retains his Chief Operating Officer title, expanding his responsibility for day to day operations including wired and mobile Web site development, sales and other critical functions. Mr. Berkowitz came to Edmunds.com in 2000 as General Counsel after practicing law at Sullivan & Cromwell in the Mergers and Acquisition department. Mr. Berkowitz earned his JD from Columbia University School of Law and a BA in English and an MA in History from Yeshiva University.
