According to The Detroit News, the General Motors sold 50% more Chevy Volts during the month of October compared to September sales, but the Nissan Leaf is still in the lead for sales. The story said Nissan has sold a little over 8,000 Leaf vehicles and GM has sold 5,000 in the first 10 months of 2011.
