BMW is recalling a little over 30,000 vehicles from the 2008 to 2011 model years to fix a problem with the circuit board for the water pump, The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration’s website said. The circuit board could overheat and cause an engine fire, NHTSA said. The recall includes the BMW 5-series, 5-series Gran Turismo, 7-series, X5 and X6, all equipped with the 8/12-cylinder or turbocharged engines.
