WHI Solutions has announced that Automotive Parts Headquarters, Inc. (APH) has fully implemented WHI Solutions’ PartsWatch in all 80 APH corporately-owned locations. APH, an Aftermarket Auto Parts Alliance member, has also installed WHI’s PartsWatch solution in 15 of its independent jobber’s stores.
APH began their search for a replacement to their legacy store systems in earnest in early 2009 and after an exhaustive process of analyzing the various options available to modernize the counter experience, APH chose PartsWatch. WHI and APH worked closely to refine the integration to their host warehouse system with the goal of surpassing the store support functionality available from their legacy store system. Once this goal was accomplished, the conversion process was accelerated and in less than a year’s time all corporate stores were converted.
Dennis Gregory, APH’s COO, at the forefront of the evaluation and decision process, noted, “In the process of evaluating alternative store systems for our company it became clear WHI had previous experience in delivering what we needed. Integration with our ADIS warehouse system was important but knowing we would be able to leverage the advantages of a hosted solution was paramount. Eliminating the need for new servers as we grow will help us control costs and minimize the time our IT team has to spend on maintaining the store systems.”
“This latest milestone achieved by APH and WHI speaks volumes about our partnership, and our mutual commitment to optimizing the counter experience for the APH team,” said Bryan Murphy, managing director of WHI Solutions. “We are proud to have been selected by the Alliance as a preferred vendor for enterprise resource planning solutions and subsequently chosen by APH, and we look forward to contributing to APH’s continued growth.”
