On May 9-11, 2022, dealers and managers, OEMs, auto retail solution providers, thought leaders, and digital experts joined together at the Digital Dealer Conference & Expo in Tampa, FL, learning, networking, and innovating. Following are a few of the highlights from Tampa!

Digital Strategies from Google, Amazon Ads, & More
In the opening keynote, “Selling More Vehicles in an Evolving Automotive Landscape,” Angie Cucco, Senior Automotive Strategist at Google, discussed how to capture the right auto shoppers with new digital strategies from Google. Using Google’s latest research around auto shopper behaviors, Angie shared insights into what shoppers care about now.

Next up were Tech Talks presented by Reach Automotive and Invoca, followed by actionable sessions led by thought leaders, top-performing dealers, and digital experts from companies like Pinterest, Meta, TikTok, and Amazon. In the day 1 closing keynote, “Amazon Ads: The Latest Advanced Measurement Capabilities and Best Practices to Reach Today’s Connected Consumer,” Tim Daher (Sr. Account Executive, Autos, Amazon Ads) highlighted the new opportunities within the Streaming TV and audio space and shared insights into how Amazon Marketing Cloud can help enable dealers with the ability to match media exposure to offline sales.

Digital Dealer Tampa Emcee David Villa of iPD Agency brought together some of the best minds in automotive for a keynote panel that explored how dealers are thinking outside of the box to draw and attract customers. Panelists included Amanda Gordon of GoJo Auto, Brad Wise of Ferman Chevrolet Mazda, Grant Hocking of Morgan Auto Group, Jennifer Scarbrough of Swope Hyundai, Matt Lewis of Lewis Automotive Group, Paul Sansone, Jr. of Sansone Jr’s 66 Automall, and Rick Ricart of Ricart Automotive.

Networking, Networking, & More Networking
From interactive mastermind exchange sessions to the peer strategy roundtable discussions, cocktail receptions, and the Digital Dealer party at AMSO, networking was in full force.
