Laurie Foster, dealer training manager at Cars.com, is sharing her expertise with automotive dealers and managers on setting up the dealership’s brand to succeed with today’s new-car shopper.
Buying a new vehicle isn’t just about price – like most other industries, a dealer’s brand and reputation have the power to tip the scales in favor of one seller over another. In fact, consumers on Cars.com are five times more likely to contact a dealer with Dealer Reviews (according to a Cars.com Internal Site Survey, February 2012) — underscoring the importance of not only merchandising your inventory properly, but also maintaining a strong, positive brand presence online.
What will attendees learn and what action items will attendees take back to the dealerships?
1. Understand how consumers who are considering purchasing a new vehicle conduct research and how you can differentiate your store online to drive more engagement.
2. How to implement a winning marketing strategy that incorporates mobile, consumer-generated content and other channels that have taken center-stage in the purchase process.
3. How to track your performance using the right metrics for maximizing success.
Laurie Foster brings more than 10 years of experience in the automotive industry to her role as dealer training manager at Cars.com, where she conducts workshops for franchise and independent dealers in markets throughout the U.S. focused on increasing dealership profitability, sales process implementation and improvement, employee development and customer satisfaction.
