Chevrolet, Buick, GMC and Cadillac dealers in the U.S. reported 180,303 sales of Certified Pre-Owned vehicles through the month of July 2011, a two percent increase compared to sales through July of last year. For the month of July 2011, combined sales of Chevrolet, Buick, GMC and Cadillac Certified Pre-Owned vehicles reached 26,289 units, a decline of less than one percent compared to last month.

- Chevrolet Silverado 1500 is July’s top selling Certified Pre-Owned vehicle.
“We’re continuing our stride of year-to-date sales gains, though the industry is responding to tighter inventory,” said Larry Pryg, national manager, Certified Pre-Owned Vehicles. “Our customers are seeing value in our product and standard vehicle maintenance plan, and our dealers continue to be engaged, as more are joining our program.”
During the month of July, the Chevrolet Silverado 1500 led the way with the highest total sales. For the month of July, the top two sellers for each brand include:
