DealerTrack Introduces New Mobile Application to Help Dealers Manage Auto Financing in Real Time

LAKE SUCCESS, N.Y. — DealerTrack launched DealerTrack Mobile, a new mobile application that enables dealers to securely manage and monitor finance and consumer credit application activities in real-time from their mobile device.

DealerTrack Mobile, which will be available for iPhones and iPads, will give dealers unprecedented and secure access to their indirect auto lending deals worked through the DealerTrack credit application network. From this new mobile app, dealers can check the status of credit applications and contracts, including contracts-in-transit and funded agreements. In addition, credit bureau scores, Red Flags and the U.S. Treasury’s OFAC (Office of Foreign Assets Control) compliance checks, and group level activity can be viewed using the new DealerTrack Mobile app.

“From the showroom and the F&I office to the general manager’s office and service department, we feel mobile technology is going to be an integral part of a dealer’s workflow, helping drive efficiency and improve the overall automotive retail experience. DealerTrack is at the forefront of preparing dealers to meet this technology evolution,” said Raj Sundaram, senior vice president, DealerTrack. “With this latest mobile app from DealerTrack, dealers will be able to make more informed decisions and better manage their businesses. DealerTrack Mobile will help dealers easily incorporate mobile innovation into their operations, while creating the technology standard for the dealerships of tomorrow.”

According to Sundaram, “This new functionality from DealerTrack joins a growing list of mobile tools and apps that will help dealers make smarter business decisions. For example, our award-winning DealerTrack eCarList TrueTarget app, which is a complete mobile merchandising, appraisal and vehicle pricing tool, has been embraced by cutting-edge dealers looking to leverage mobile technologies and innovations, both inside and outside the dealership.”

Individuals can also download the new DealerTrack Mobile app directly from the Apple iTunes App Store (search “DealerTrack”), or visit the DealerTrack booth (#1751) at the 2012 NADA Convention and Expo in Las Vegas, February 4th – 6th, to download and demo the app. Android and Blackberry versions of DealerTrack Mobile are expected to be available later this year.

In addition, to help educate dealers on the power of mobile technology in their dealerships, Len Critcher, chief product officer, DealerTrack eCarList, will be hosting a number of NADA University Workshops during the convention.
