Average Conversion Rate of Unique Online Visitor to Shopper up 56%

According to a data from Dataium, the conversion rate of the average unique visitor to shopper was up 56% during the month of January 2012. This information is based on statistics for national automotive Internet behavior for January 2012.

Below are a few key statistics from Datium’s data for January 2012

  • Average Unique Visitors to per Websites: 4,785
  • Avg Unique Visitors to Shoppers (conversion): 56%
  • Page views per shopper: 11
  • VINs viewed per active visitor: .21
  • Average shoppers to lead:
    • LTAV (lead to active visitor): 3.02%
    • LTV (lead to visitor): 1.69%
  • Search Percentages:
    • New: 33%
    • Used: 67%
