WEST MIDDLESEX, PA, September 28, 2011 – AutoSoft Inc. announced the integration of Ford ONE Warranty Solution (OWS) with the AutoSoft DMS.
AutoSoft is one of the first dealership service providers to pilot OWS and receive certification from Ford. The new Ford warranty system is completely redesigned, easier to use, and replaces Direct Warranty Entry (DWE).
Key features of Ford OWS:
- Fully integrates with the AutoSoft DMS
- Faster and more efficient warranty system
- Redesigned user interface
- Locate transaction summaries easier
- Ability to enter more data
The continued development of OWS prepares AutoSoft to introduce a pre-validation system, which Ford will be implementing in 2012. The pre-validation system notifies users of errors or alerts, therefore reducing rejected and returned claims. Dealers will also have the ability to access the warranty system with real-time processing and feedback, resulting in a streamlined claims process.
“It’s easy to navigate the interface, and with helpful features, it will make sending and managing warranty claims easier,” said Greg Haynes, AutoSoft service support representative and trainer.
Ford OWS has been tested extensively with AutoSoft dealers. The warranty program will begin rolling out to AutoSoft customers over the next few months-with full deployment starting in October.
AutoSoft is dedicated to support and customer satisfaction. Each customer will be contacted individually by an AutoSoft support representative and thoroughly trained on Ford OWS.
