AutoMD joins AMRA/MAP, from Tire Business.
ARLINGTON HEIGHTS, Ill. (April 7, 2015) — AutoMD Inc., an online automotive repair resource for consumers, has joined the Automotive Maintenance Repair Association (AMRA).
Carson, Calif.-based AutoMD, through itsAutoMD.com website, claims a network of more than 2,000 repair shops nationwide.
As an AMRA member, AutoMD.com endorses AMRA’s Motorist Assurance Program (MAP) standards — meant to help the automotive service and repair industry earn consumer trust through the MAP Participating Facility program and by using the MAP Standards of Service and Uniform Inspection and Communication Standards.
AMRA called AutoMD.com the “most comprehensive and unbiased online automotive repair resource for consumers,” and said the website will work with AMRA to increase consumer trust in the auto repair industry through rigorous standards of service and improved communication between consumers and repair shops.
