Chris Fousek is the e-commerce director with Cadillac Village of Norwood and The Village Automotive Group in Boston, MA, where he has worked since starting in the car business in 1999. Fousek’s perspective is unique, “Not long after starting as a salesperson on the floor in 1999, the general manager asked me to figure out the Internet. I just took what was working for me on the floor and started to apply it to our online customers. I didn’t see any difference between the two.” Since that time he has been involved in the construction of the group’s websites and has continued to work closely with developers and vendors on emerging trends and technology. Fousek is a returning speaker to Digital Dealer and in August of 2010 was featured in Digital Dealer magazine.
