Announcement from Quantum5
Lewis brings over two decades in automotive to the role, on both the vendor side and General Sales Manager, Used Car Manager, and F&I Manager experience in dealerships.
Quantum5, the first platform to transform dealership training and bridge the gap between the traditional and digital customer, announced the hiring of DealerSocket alum Jeremy Lewis as the Vice President of Sales.
In this role, Lewis will combine his considerable expertise from working in dealership roles with his business development experience from companies the likes of Dealersocket, CDK Global, and AutoMate to build out the Quantum5 sales team and continue the sizzling sales pace the company set in the first half of 2021.
“We’ve been fortunate to enjoy a very fast ramp up with industry adoption of our relational, skills-based training model and have been searching for a person with Jeremy’s expertise and solid relationships in automotive for a while now,” said David O’Brien, CEO and co-founder of Quantum5. “He’s the perfect person to build out the sales team and bring our love of learning to the forward-thinking dealerships that understand each individual buyer needs a specific selling style.”
Unlike other training programs, Quantum5 joins the power of in-person skills training with backend technology that includes AI learning, gamification, and community building to create ongoing proficiency in learners. As sales and service teams work their way through the different levels of the app, they become better at determining needs and motivations of buyers, delivering value and handling objections. These skills work together to increase both sales and upsell service opportunities, bridging the gap between traditional and digital retail customers.
“As we’ve seen over the last year and a half, one of the biggest hurdles dealerships are currently facing is retention of employees and that directly relates to training,” said Lewis. “Quantum5’s experienced board, their love of the industry we serve, and their joint mission of arming today’s employees with the proper knowledge to succeed in a disruptive world, all coincide with my personal vision. We’re all here with a joint aim to leave the industry better than we found it.”
