FORVIS announces the addition of Craig Todderud and Lee Ferguson to its dealerships practice. FORVIS, created from the merger of equals of DHG and BKD earlier this year, is a longtime leading provider of accounting and advisory services to the dealerships industry nationwide.

Lee Ferguson is a managing director based in St. Louis, Missouri. He brings more than 15 years of public accounting experience to FORVIS, including nine years specializing in servicing dealerships. At FORVIS, Ferguson leads a dedicated group of tax professionals serving new and used car dealerships and their owners’ related businesses. He specializes in services that include tax consulting/preparation, buy/sell due diligence, accounting process implementation, cash flow analysis and more.
Prior to joining FORVIS, Ferguson spent nearly nine years with CLA’s dealerships practice. He earned a bachelor’s degree in accountancy from the University of Illinois at Springfield. He is a member of the AICPA and holds CPA licenses in Missouri and Illinois.
“As FORVIS enters more markets nationwide through our recent merger, I saw an incredible opportunity to help bring the legacy expertise of DHG’s dealership practice into Midwest markets such as St. Louis,” Ferguson said. “I am thrilled to be a part of this growing team.”
Craig Todderud is a director based in Indianapolis, Indiana. He has 15 years of experience focused primarily on automotive and equipment dealerships, servicing dealership owners by providing strategic tax planning, benchmarking and operational consulting and buy/sell and due diligence services. Todderud specializes in areas of tax code that are prevalent and beneficial to dealers such as self-rental commercial real estate rules and cost segregations, inventory valuation methods and more.
Prior to joining FORVIS, Todderud spent more than a decade with Somerset CPAs in Indianapolis. He earned a bachelor’s degree in accounting and finance from Ball State University in Muncie, Indiana, and is a member of the AICPA.
