Glen Garvin, group general manager, Dominion Dealer Solutions, is sharing his expertise with automotive dealers and managers on how to unlock potential used inventory treasures from the CRM.
Tight vehicle supply is one of the biggest challenges facing car dealers in 2012. Declining new car sales in 2008 and 2009, along with the destruction of over 700,000 vehicles in the Cash For Clunkers program, has caused the supply of used vehicles to fall to record levels. Successful dealers will need to use both creativity and technology to ensure they have a steady supply of good, clean used vehicles. You will be able to learn and discuss practical ways you can improve your sourcing for used vehicles using both traditional and progressive techniques.
What will you learn and what action items will you take back to the dealership?
1. How to predict future shortages or surpluses of used vehicles.
2. Learn how dealers are using technology to open up their “selection set” of potential used vehicles to retail.
3. Learn steps necessary to use dealers’ Social Network to help solve supply issues.
4. How to unlock the potential used inventory treasures from your CRM.
