This week brings us to trend two: cross-channel personalization
Cross-channel personalization is all about using personalization throughout multiple platforms. For example, when you send an email to someone in your database, you could say, “Hi [first name]. We hope that you’ve enjoyed your [insert model of vehicle]. We see that you have [mileage number].” This type of email gives the customer a personal experience.
This personalized approach can be very powerful. It keeps customers aware and engaged. It can be even more powerful to take that personalization across email and put it onto your website so we are not only receiving emails saying, “Dear Scott or dear [first name],” but we’re actually going to a website that’s talking to us.
