Reese Power Sports Marine tie downs are a specialty line of quality tie downs made to secure boats safely during transportation. There are three types of tie downs in this line: Bow (front of the boat) Gunwale tie downs (middle of the boat) and Transom tie downs (back end of the boat).
Bow tie downs are a great tie down to be used in combination with a Gunwale or Transom tie down. They are easy to tighten and release. The Bow tie down has a load capacity of 400lbs and break strength of 1200 lbs. There is also a Stainless Steel Bow tie down with a 300 lb load capacity: 900 lb break strength.
Gunwale tie downs feature an open, easy grip handle for any size hand. A contoured release button provides a smooth release every time and coated steel hooks protect the boat’s finish. Gunwale tie downs are 2” wide and come in various lengths including: 10 ft., 13 ft., 16 ft. and 20 ft. The Gunwale tie down has a load capacity 833 lb. and 2500 lb. break strength. The Stainless Steel Gunwale tie down has a load capacity of 400 lb. and 1200 lb. break strength.
Transom tie downs lock into place to eliminate slippage and can’t be over tightened. This prevents damage to your boat. Transom tie downs also feature a protective coating to prevent scratches. They are 2” wide and come in two lengths 24 in. and 48 in. with a 833 lb load capacity and 2500 lb break strength. The Stainless Steel Transom tie downs have a 333 lb. load capacity and 1000 lb break strength. There are also Retractable Transom tie downs available. Retractable Transom tie downs store easily when not in use. They are easy to bolt onto your trailer with the included hardware.
