Even the holidays are busy, from Automotive News.
Auto industry executives have gone home. Except for a few plants running overtime, the offices are dark. Most executives probably think the industry is sleeping.
That couldn’t be further from the truth. During the holidays, thousands of auto retailers are selling and servicing cars and generally taking care of their customers.
Auto manufacturers might be on vacation, but their dealerships are always on the job.
There will be hundreds of thousands of cars and trucks sold this week, along with hundreds of thousands of vehicles serviced and lots of parts supplied to independent service shops.
