LONG BEACH, Calif. — Alliance Inspection Management (AiM) the nation’s leading provider of vehicle inspection services, has reached an agreement with Auto Financial Group (AFG) of Houston, Texas, to provide end-of-term and used vehicle condition reports to aid AFG’s remarketing business.
- AiM signs three-year agreement with Auto Financial Group, which provides residual-based finance products for financial institutions nationwide
- AiM Inspections delivers 150-point independent review of vehicle’s current condition at end-of-term or as part of a used car sale
- Data provided by AiM will benefit AFG’s remarketing of pre-owned vehicles
AFG is one of the nation’s leading sources of online, residual-based finance products for financial institutions, and features a balloon financing program similar to a lease, but the vehicle’s title remains in the customer’s name. This program has proven to be popular as it allows the customer more individual freedom related to their auto finance experience.
“AFG has established a very successful business among financial institutions,” said Jim Yates, AiM president & CEO. “AiM’s service will help make AFG more efficient with their business, as we’re able to provide vehicle condition and repair information that’s critical to their wholesale transaction process.”
AiM inspectors will conduct vehicle inspections for AFG at locations agreed upon by AFG, the customer and the inspector. AiM has developed a program for AFG that delivers electronic reports on the condition of a vehicle at end-of-term, detailing damages and deficiencies that will impact the vehicle’s value, and provide damage estimates and information for repairs required for each unit in accordance with guidelines set by AFG.
“We are excited about our partnership with AiM, said Richard Epley, CEO of AFG, “their organization’s commitment to service is second to none and we believe their program will significantly enhance our end of term process”
AiM Mobile Inspections is the consumer division of Alliance Inspection Management, the nation’s largest commercial vehicle inspection company, which has inspected more than 35 million new and used vehicles in the last six years.
