Vaughan Automotive Acquires, Rebrands Tejas Toyota as Space City Toyota
Vaughan Automotive has acquired a Toyota dealership in the Houston area.
Vaughan, which owns Toyota stores in Houston and Boerne, TX, purchased Tejas Toyota in Humble, TX, and rebranded the store as Space City Toyota. Company official said the acquisition was driven by the Humble area being poised for significant growth, driven by steady population increases and economic development, creating a rising demand for automotive services.
Vaughan officials noted the acquisition decision was driven by a strategic vision to expand the company’s footprint and enhance its portfolio with a well-positioned and established dealership.

Sunrise Auto Group Sells Memphis Dealership to Jim Keras Automotive
Kerrigan Advisors represented Memphis,TN -based Sunrise Auto Group in the sale of its remaining dealership, Sunrise Buick GMC Covington Pike, to Jim Keras Automotive.
Jim Keras Automotive Group operates six dealerships across Tennessee and Missouri, representing a range of brands including Chevrolet, Nissan, Subaru and CDJR.
Bob Berkheimer founded Sunrise Auto Group more than three decades ago. As a multi-year recipient of GM’s prestigious Mark of Excellence and Dealer of the Year awards, Sunrise is a market leader for Buick GMC in Memphis, which is ranked the third largest metro area in the Southeast. Lamborghini Opens Largest U.S. Store
Lamborghini has opened a 40,000-square-foot showroom in the San Antonio-area, the car maker’s biggest in the U.S. The dealership can be found at 27605 Interstate 10 in Boerne, TX and the 50th Lamborghini location in the Americas.
“San Antonio is an important city, the second-largest city in Texas,” said Lamborghini CEO Stephan Winkelmann as the opening of the store. “Usually we open up a service point and then a dealership, but this goes very well together because the size of the city is very important.”
The location will serve as the regional destination to purchase the Temerario, Lamborghini’s new hybrid model introduced earlier in August. It is the company’s fourth Texas dealership.
Ed Morse Automotive Group Acquires Seven Arizona Dealerships
The Ed Morse Automotive Group has expanded into Arizona with the purchase of seven dealerships from Lawley Automotive Group in Sierra Vista, AZ.
These will be Ed Morse Automotive Group’s first stores in Arizona and the acquisitions will increase the company’s total to 56 dealerships across the country. The locations, all in Sierra Vista in a deal brokered by The Dave Cantin Group, are:

- Lawley Honda, now known as Ed Morse Honda
