Dane Saville, Director of Brand Experience at SearchLab Digital will be hosting an insightful, hands-on session at Digital Dealer Conference & Expo 2025! The 90-minute, interactive talk is titled “Wrestling with Organic: Navigating the New SEO and AI Landscape.”

This session will dive into the evolving nature of organic search with a specific lens on analyzing strategies for SEO and GEO (Generative Engine Optimizations), the latter being driven by AI. Attendees will learn through three phases across the 90 minutes: (1) learn insights from a 400+ automotive keyword study on Google’s AI Overviews, including trends like average word count, keyword usage, imagery, and impact on clickthrough rates; (2) understand how ChatGPT operates and the differences in answers between confidence it has with fully trained data versus not; (3) discover the vital components of content planning and content structure for the best chances of being used as a citation.

This is not just a lecture. While a portion will offer up the data points from the studies, attendees will be tasked with using this information and applying it to real-world searches in the session by opening up their laptops and providing feedback on what they see.
