Howard Bentley Buick GMC commemorates Remember in December culminating its annual four-month Season of Giving. Every vehicle sold since September is contributing towards local community causes generating over $40,000 in contributions to Marshall County organizations throughout Northeastern Alabama. The dealership takes giving a step further this month by aligning with the Marshall County Christmas Coalition and adopting 50 children through hands on gifts shopping, wrapping, and deliveries to less fortunate families this holiday season.
“Howard Bentley’s Season of Giving was inspired from our core value of giving back to the communities we serve, while keeping us grounded on what the Holidays truly mean,” shares Taylor Bentley Conner, dealer principal of the third-generation, family-owned and operated dealership. “While we Remember in December, it’s part of a bigger effort where we select four local non-profits and pair with a theme for each month from September through December. It is so rewarding for us all as our employees get involved providing their selection of charity for causes close to their hearts. Additionally, our loyal customers are part of supporting these worthy causes.”
Through its annual Season of Giving, Howard Bentley Buick GMC presented the Albertville Chamber of Commerce 2024 Thanksgiving and Christmas Parade: Turkey & Tinsel on Main and held its signature Santa Picture Night, with professional photos and children’s activities. These programs are combined with a dedicated effort of embracing the community through its fundraising efforts by donating $25 for each vehicle sold to the selected organization from September through December.
Remember in December
The team at Howard Bentley joins the Marshall County Christmas Coalition to fulfill the Christmas wish list of 50 children with $15,000 worth of gifts initiated to support families in need of help buying gifts this holiday season. The Christmas assistance program unites governmental entities, schools, businesses, churches and other community supporters.
Give Back for Black Friday in November
Howard Bentley raised $7,850 for CAJA of Marshall County, an organization of volunteers that advocates for abused and neglected children in Marshall County’s Court. Funds raised help ensure a Court Appointed Special Advocate independently investigates the cases of these children and advocates for what is best for each child with the goal of a loving and safe home.
Booktober in October
Howard Bentley raised $10,000 for the Albertville City Schools Foundation and the Dolly Parton Imagination Library. The program is part of a partnership between Albertville City Schools and Howard Bentley Buick GMC to gift high-quality books to children aged birth to five, to help foster early adoption of a love for reading.
Second Chance September
Howard Bentley raised $7,500 the Second Chance Shelter, a 501(c) (3) non-profit, no-kill dog shelter. The funds help save the animals from being euthanized and provide these loyal pets with a temporary home until they find a forever home.
Howard Bentley Buick GMC supports local communities through charitable giving, volunteerism, and partnerships with organizations that share a vision for a better tomorrow. In 2024, the dealership has donated over $200,000 to over 100 different local schools, community needs, local nonprofits and charities working on the front lines of poverty, education, and health while helping drive the growth and prosperity of Albertville and surrounding areas. The dealership’s community involvement reflects its core values: dedication, integrity, and cooperation in meeting the needs of the people they serve.
