Vehicle Investigation Upgraded

An investigation of electrical fires in the doors of certain General Motor SUVs has been upgraded by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, according to a story from The Detroit News. NHTSA, the story said, is investigating the 2006-2007 models years of the Chevrolet Trailblazer, GMC Envoy, Buick Rainer, and Saab 9-7x SUVs. NHTSA has received 28 reports of door fires. The story said the investigation includes 340,000 vehicles.
