According to The Detroit News, Senator Debbie Stabenow is pushing to re-open the federal auto loan program. Comments from Congress and the Energy Department indicate support in Washington to be unfavorable, however, with so many applications and so much need, Stabenow’s proposals should get some hearing from politicians and loan officers alike.
