SIU Automotive Program Gets Boost, from WSIU.
A large automotive technology group has purchased the naming rights for the auto parts center inside the Transportation Education Center at SIU-Carbondale.
University officials joined representatives of Bosch Automotive to dedicate the naming rights at the TEC Center Thursday.
SIUC’s automotive technology department chair Michael Behrmann says Bosch is a great partner because it provides students with real-world experience and careers.
Behrmann says SIUC’s automotive technology department is recognized as one of the nation’s best – in large part – because of corporate partnerships like the one with Bosch.
