GMC of Dodge City in Kansas Sold to Lewis Automotive Group

Lewis Automotive Group has acquired GMC of Dodge City in Kansas from the G1 Group in a sale facilitated by Performance Brokerage Services. The transaction allows the Lewis Automotive Group, led by Jamey Lewis-Gonzalez and Brad Lewis, to consolidate the GMC franchise with their Chevrolet dealership in Dodge City, further expanding their presence in the region. The G1 Group, an investment firm with a diverse portfolio, was praised by Lewis for its cooperation during the smooth transaction process.

The Lewis Automotive Group, a family-run business since 1968, now operates 10 dealerships across Kansas, representing multiple major automotive brands. The acquisition strengthens the Lewis Automotive Group’s commitment to serving the Dodge City community.

“I’ve been looking for a dealership for the Lewis family for a few years and have built a strong relationship with Brad and Jamey during this time,” said Eric Scott, Partner of the Texas & Midwest Office for Performance Brokerage Services. “This transaction was a natural fit, taking place in their hometown and allowing them to bring the GMC franchise under one rooftop at their Chevrolet store. They’ve been serving this community for many years, and I’m confident they will continue to do an outstanding job.”

Mid-Hudson Subaru Sold to VIP Automotive

Mid-Hudson Subaru in Wappingers Falls, New York, has changed hands from Chris Turner to VIP Automotive Group in a deal facilitated by The Presidio Group. The transaction, finalized on September 4, 2025, included the dealership’s real estate and marks VIP Automotive Group’s third Subaru dealership. Chris Turner expressed gratitude for Presidio’s strategic guidance throughout the process. VIP Automotive Group plans to expand the dealership’s service shop and parking capacity to better serve the community.

“We are excited to welcome Mid-Hudson Subaru to the VIP Automotive family and to expand our already strong ties to the top-notch Subaru brand,” VIP owner Joel Sporn said. “Our team looks forward to building on the dealership’s strong reputation and investing in the facility to better serve our customers and the community. This transaction went smoothly thanks to the professionalism and deep expertise of The Presidio Group.”

This sale is the third Subaru dealership transaction handled by Presidio in 2025, reflecting the high demand for Subaru franchises due to the brand’s strong sales growth over the past decade.
