Picture this. AnyTown Dealership USA. The Year is Now.
You finally land on a car, a dealership, and a sales person that you like. You make it official, write it up with the salesperson.
You are ready to take delivery of your new or pre-owned vehicle. YAY!
In most cases, you would have already been introduced to the Finance Advocate/ F&I or AKA The Business Manager, and you probably have that perception that this person is going to try to sell you sell you sell you.
Initially, this perception probably formed out of a place of fear of the unknown, or maybe horror stories from friends or previous bad experiences from another era of buying a car. The fear is probably similar to what you felt when you started the process of car shopping and initiating the purchase.
Fear that you are being taken for, fear you are going to be ‘swindled’ into spending mass amounts of your hard earned cash. Sound familiar?
But in all reality, the Business Manager is actually your advocate, just as is your sales person. Not only do the Business Managers assist you with all of the legal documentation, contracting, registering, etc….they are also legally bound to provide you with options that will (Honest to goodness) help you.
