According to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration’s website, Nissan North America, Inc. is recalling the 2012 and 2013 model year Nissan Altima. NHTSA’s website said Nissan issued the recall to fix suspension bolts that were not torqued to the proper specification and may loosen or fall out. This could cause the driver to lose control of the vehicle.
