According to a post from The Los Angeles Times blog, the mayor of Los Angeles is looking to end the business tax new car dealers have to pay if they want to open up shop in the city. The blog said in the last 25 years, 95 L.A. dealers have closed their doors, mostly due to the high business tax they had to pay. The mayor is proposing the end to the business tax and already has the support of the City Council President and some of the councilman.
