Ford Motor Company is recalling a little over 16,000 2011/2012 model year F-Series trucks to fix a problem with the power train, the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration’s website said. The recall includes the 2011 Ford F-150 and the 2012 F-250, F-350, F-450 and F-550. NHTSA’s website said the problem with the power train could allow drivers to accidentally shift the vehicle into a gear without pressing the brake pedal. Ford will contact owners and dealers, the website said, will fix the problem free of charge.
