DETROIT – SmartAuction, Ally Financial’s online vehicle auction website, announced that it has formed an agreement with CentralDispatch® to allow SmartAuction users to upload daily SmartAuction transaction activity to their CentralDispatch accounts.
The enhancement simplifies the vehicle transport process by allowing SmartAuction users who subscribe to the CentralDispatch service to automatically populate a vehicle transport service request, saving them both time and money. Providing access to more than 6,500 carriers in the U.S., CentralDispatch is the industry’s largest online auto transport marketplace.
“The functionality and value that SmartAuction offers its broad community of dealers and consignors is the leading factor in the growth of our online marketplace, which provides our clients with the broadest vehicle choice and the best opportunity to keep their inventories moving,” said Steve Kapusta, vice president of SmartAuction. “We’re pleased to be able to offer this enhancement.”
SmartAuction will also continue to enable users to obtain real-time transportation quotes directly from Ready Auto Transport, McNutt Auto Transport Service, and United Road Transportation through the SmartAuction website.
