Nissan Bringing Dealership Groups from Mexico to US Market, from The Newswheel.
Nissan has a significant market share in Mexico, and now it’s looking to bring the most successful Mexican dealer groups into the US to open dealerships in Hispanic markets.
Nissan dealerships in Mexico have yearly contracts, so it was easy for Nissan to see which dealerships were the the highest performing, and work with them to open stores in the US.
Nissan plans on opening dealerships in Florida, California, and Texas initially to target the large Hispanic communities there. The automaker also wants to bring the successful business models of these dealership groups to the US market, where it has less of a market share.
