Hyundai recalls 27,500 Genesis cars for braking issue, according to The Detroit News.
Hyundai Motor Co. said Monday it will recall 27,500 2009-2012 Genesis cars in the United States to change the brake fluid after complaints of braking problems, including one crash.
Hyundai previously initiated a service campaign in March to replace the brake fluid in vehicles. Approximately 60 percent of the affected production range has already been completed. The recall covers Genesis vehicles built between April 2008 through March 16, 2012. A Hyundai U.S. spokesman, Miles Johnson, said he didn’t know if any vehicles were being recalled outside the U.S. for the same problem.
