Boca Raton, FL – October 6, 2017 – Digital Dealer is proud to announce its second Charity Auction, held on Sept. 19, 2017 in conjunction with the Digital Dealer 23 Conference & Exposition in Las Vegas, NV, raised a total of $11,646 to benefit the Southern Nevada chapter of the Make-A-Wish Foundation. A generous winning auction bid of $10,500, and additional cash donations from attendees, far surpassed the initial goal of granting one child’s wish at $8,000, with the winning bidder receiving a 2017 Harley-Davidson Sportster 883N Motorcycle, generously donated by ADESA and TradeRev.

“We were honored to be able to host our second Digital Dealer Charity Auction. Digital Dealer, along with ADESA and TradeRev, were thrilled that we were able to not only grant wishes that will bring happiness to children who are battling illnesses, but that we could also bring attention to the worthy charity, Make-A-Wish,” said David Southworth, Vice President, Digital Dealer.
Veronica Beauchamp, a past Make-A-Wish Foundation recipient, spoke on behalf of the charity before the auction began. Beauchamp courageously shared her story of overcoming the challenges that come with living with lupus, and how the Make-A-Wish Foundation enabled her to continue on a path of resilience, and follow her passion, despite obstacles.
The Make-A-Wish Foundation is a non-profit organization whose mission is to grant the wish of every child diagnosed with a life-threatening medical condition to enrich the human experience with hope, strength and joy.
The winning bid came from David Wilson Jr., Vice President of Preston Automotive Group, a company that has been able to thrive by focusing on achieving excellence in both customer and employee satisfaction. Wilson also serves as Vice President of iFrog Digital Marketing, an automotive advertising and marketing agency that was established to help other dealerships achieve the same level of success as Preston Automotive Group.
“Hearing the story of the Make-A-Wish Foundation and looking at our core value community, I felt the two went hand-in-hand to turn someone’s wish into a significant reality. The Make-A-Wish Foundation is an inspiring organization that we are so proud to be able to support,” says Wilson.
