Overland Park, Kan.: NCM Associates, a leading provider of automotive 20 Group, Retail Consulting, Education, and operations Benchmark®analysis services to franchised and independent auto dealers, announced today it has again been selected by General Motors as the exclusive provider of automotive 20 groups for its Minority Dealer Development (MDD) Network. NCM pioneered the 20 group peer collaboration process, which provides a formal platform for automotive dealers from non-competing markets to compare operating performances and exchange best practices and ideas in a spirit of camaraderie and accountability for each members’ success. General Motors – MDD is making the NCM 20 Group opportunity available to its MDD Network to assist those dealers in improving their dealerships’ operating performance by way of NCM’s proven Benchmark® for Success process. NCM has been the exclusive provider of GM – MDD Network 20 Groups for the past five years and was awarded the privilege of continuing the program, with enhancements, through 2015.
NCM Associates divisional leaders collaborated on the proposal before presenting it to GM – MDD executives in October, in order to provide a comprehensive suite of services designed to assist GM’s minority automobile dealers in achieving profitability targets. In addition to GM – MDD 20 Groups, participating minority dealers will enjoy access to a full range of NCM Benchmark analytical tools and special information and learning opportunities, including web-based and classroom training through the NCM Institute, and in-dealership support from NCM Retail Operations Consulting.

In an earlier news announcement this year, NCM disclosed it had been awarded the exclusive contract for assisting the General Motors – MDD Network with NCM’s signature in-dealership Profit Correction Meetings, strategically focusing on helping the participating dealers improve their Net-to-Gross profit performance.
