According to the Detroit Free Press, the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration is investigating some reports claiming fires have started in the driver’s side car doors of certain General Motors SUVs. The investigation, building on the story from the Detroit Free Press late last week involving some Toyota vehicles, includes the 2006-2007 Chevrolet Trailblazer. The story said no vehicles have been recalled yet, but estimated more than 300,000 SUVs could be included in a recall.
