DealerStar Inc, announced it has been awarded General Motor’s Global Warranty Management (GWM) certification. This certification allows GM dealer clients to quickly and easily process and manage warranty claims. “DealerStar’s interface to GM’s Global Warranty Management system is a seamless way for dealers to submit and correct warranty claims to GM ,” said Sandi Jerome, vice-president and designer of DealerStar. DealerStar is a fully integrated web-based DMS with features like CRM, dispatching, payroll, and reporting included.

After an intensive certification process, DealerStar has been fully integrated with the GM’s Global Warranty Management enabling dealers to quickly submit, track and report on warranty submissions from within DealerStar – in real time. Dealers can also do an inquiry of the vehicle and service history from within a repair order with a notification of repeat repairs, expiration dates, and field actions. “Our web-based DMS means instant confirmation of the claim status by using Web Services for submission. Dealers will know about adjustments and rejections sooner,” added Jerome.
