According to Gasgoo.com, Shanghai General Motors released the new Cadillac XTS this week. American cars entering the international playing field represent competition for the 89% German-owned market:
Shanghai GM plans to sell 100,000 Cadillacs in China in 2015. 250 Cadillac dealerships, as well as a new factory and experience center, are planned to be established by that year. The JV aims for the brand to control a ten percent share in the country’s luxury car market by 2020.
